Farah’s film career began as an assistant to filmmaker Mansoor Khan in ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ in 1992. A month later ,the song ‘Pehla Nasha’ of the film went on to became a huge hit. The choreographer of the song of ‘Dilwale Dulhanai Le Jayenge’ which went on to become a blockbuster. Over the years she continues to innovate through films like ‘Kabhi Hann Kabhi Naa’, ‘Dil Se’ ‘Kuch Kuch Hota hai’ and ‘Kaho Naa Pyar Hai’.
