Pooja Bedi was born on 11 May 1970 is the daughter of the late Protima and Kabir Bedi. She is a former Bollywood actress and currently a television talk show host. She is best remembered for the Kama Sutra condom campaign which she endorsed. A popular person, she was considered the poster girl for the new breed of liberated and independent women emerging in India. She made her film debut with Jag Mundhra’s 1991 film Vishkanya. She went on act in her most popular film to date, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander in 1992 with Aamir Khan. After appearances in a few more films such as Lootere in 1993 and Aatank Hi Aatank in 1995 she quit acting.
After 10 years since she last appeared in a film, she had a brief appearance in the 2005 film Ek Ajnabee but her scenes was deleted during the editing process. Currently she is hosting a Celebrity talk show formerly titled “Not just Page 3″ and now known as “Just Pooja". She is mother of two children, Aalia born 28th of November 1997 and Omar born 19th February 2000.
