SHINY AHUJA (ROSHAN AHUJA)
       

Roshan Ahuja , popularly known as Shiny Ahuja is an Indian (bollywood) actor.

       

Before making his debut in films Shiny appeared in a music video for the British asian band Stereo Nation. Ahuja made his acting debut with Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003) which was not released in theatres until 2005. The film won Shiney Ahuja rave reviews and was viewed as one of the best films of that year. Ahuja won the Best male debut filmfare award for his performance. He however grew more familiar with mainstream audiences with Karam, where he starred alongside John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. His most popular role to date is in Mahesh Bhatt’s Gangster (2006) opposite Emraan Hashmi.

       

His most recent movies are Zindaggi Rocks (2006), opposite Sushmita Sen, and Woh Lamhe (2006), opposite his Gangster co-star Kangana Ranaut. In the film, a story based on the romance between Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt and the late Parveen Babi, the 1970s glamour girl, Ahuja plays Bhatt. The film was very well received by critics and became a multiplex hit through word of mouth.

       

His most recent movie is  “Life in a Metro", opposite Shilpa Shetty.

       

He is married to Anupam Pandey nee Anu Ahuja, a native of Bihar but born and brought up in Delhi. He graduated from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore with a specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering says Prof. B. I. Khodanpur, Head of the Department.
